I have a new PC that is running Windows 10 with a number of applications. It has the OS on an SSD and three other SATA drives that contain data. I also have an older PC that is running XP with many applications. It has only one SATA drive that contains OS and data. If I clone the XP SATA drive to a new SATA drive, what steps would I have to do to install that new XP SATA drive into the new PC (W10) so that the new PC is now a dual boot PC, capable of running both W10 with its applications and XP with its applications? Thanks.

It can't be done in the way you suggest, not at all.

You can't move a Windows installation to completely different hardware and expect it boot just like it did on the original machine it was moved from. Moreover, if it's an OEM pre-installed copy of XP from a factory-built PC, you're not allowed to move it to a different PC anyhow.

If you want to have XP on your Windows 10 computer you're going to have to install XP on it from scratch (ie a fresh installation using an XP install disc).
