Hello guys!

I'm having a really big problem and would like your help please. all the previous info can be found in this thread :

http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2829172/gtx-970-390-compatible-asrock-z68-extreme4.html#16839905

But i'll make a "quick" summary so i won't take that much time from you guys.
I have an older setup ( Asrock z68 Extreme4, i5 2500k, 4gb 1333mh ram memory and crossfire hd 6870 ) and wanted a new graphics card and RAM memory. I bought 2 x 4gb crucial ballistix sport as advised from the company i bought my pc from and a MSI R9 390 graphics card.
In the thread above i asked whether my motherboard (3 x PCIe 2.0 x16 slots) was compatible with the r9 390 and i received a positive response so that shouldn't really be the problem.

After installing both components in the computer, we got a black screen at startup while everything should be installed correctly (pushed in the graphics card and memory in the correct slots and heard a click).
The thing is that we installed the new graphics card and RAM memory simultaneously without testing whether one of them was working correctly with the current setup which is a really dumb move since we don't know what's causing the black screen now. We put the original setup back in and tried starting up but we are getting the black screen again so nothing is working anymore..

Could anybody please help us cause it is pretty urgent since i need this computer for school.
Any help is much appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

Recommend to install either RAM or GPU first, if you have problem to use both at the same time.
Also clear the BIOS first, and before you install the new GPU, you should use DDU to uninstall the GPU driver with the old GPU. DDU http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html after install the new GPU, then reinstall the driver from AMD site.
After clear the CMOS and uninstall the GPU driver, try either new GPU or new RAM, if you can boot then install the next component.
