Hi!
So my mind just got blown by I just figured out that I got a 750 watt psu for a single r9 290 thinking that was minimum.... :p
So I was thinking now I maybe don't have to get a new psu (Cm V1000 ) for 2 way crossfire :)

So would a cooler Master G750M be enough to run two way r9 290? I currently run one r9 290 fine (as you can imagine ) and it has two pcei cable with each one 8 pin and one 6+2pin connector though I don't really know the internal story (voltages and amps and stuff)

So would this psu be enough?

Thanks!

I cant help what uninformed people tell you the reviews say from 250 to 300 watts
And yes X4 will gimp the performance.
I dought all these reviews are missing the Watts to the high side.

Under normal gaming you could be OK but sorry I can not recommend pushing the limits of a PSU!
This does not state it but a lot of X4 slots will run at X1 with the X16 slot populated...

You should always list all the parts in your PC with questions like this!
In general R9 290 is a 250 Watt GPU so that's 500 potential watts running 2 cards.
Average Intel processor with motherboard and drives 160 more watts.
125 Watt AMD processor with drives and motherboard 200 Watts.
To sum tis up maybe but not something I would recommend.

To sum that up look now at what it says the Watts required would be.

ALSO with that motherboard Xfire would be a major gimp as the 2nd card would be running at X4 speed.

I edited my post after looking at the motherboard.
ALSO with that motherboard Xfire would be a major gimp as the 2nd card would be running at X4 speed.
With that motherboard your best option is a single card and NO I would not run that with the parts you already have.

well that isn't happening lol u can get approx 230 euro for that card that's a 280 x here so I won't sell it.
Thanks for the input though

Edit1

Lol missed your point I've got 200 euro + 230 =430 which is a awkward spot for gpus
