Hello. I experienced some troubles lately, with the "Kernel Power" error, and I guess my graphic card (Nvidia Geforce GT440) is the problem, cause it reach 102°C when gaming and "shut down" the pc (the graphic card cooler stops and I get no picture in the screen but the rest of the pc stay on) and I was thinking in purchase a Msi GTX 960, my setup is:

Motherboard: Asus m5a99x evo
CPU: Amd FX 8150
GPU: Nvidia Geforce GT440
Ram: 8gb 1866 Mhz G.skill Sniper
Storage: 1TB Western Digital
Power supply: Thermaltake TR2 RX 750w

and my question is, I'm gonna need another power supply? and will my CPU or motherboard or any other component bottleneck the GTX960?

Thanks and sorry for my bad english!

Solution
Hi aarbrambilla,

1) Your PSU is technically enough to run the GTX 960, but it isn't a high-quailty power supply so I suggest changing it out when you can.

2) The FX8150 shouldn't bottleneck the GTX 960 too much, especially if it has a mild overclock.
