So I'm about to start an entry/mid-level gaming build that can run older titles like CS:GO and Borderlands 2 at max settings, but also more demanding games like Company of Heroes 2 or Battlefield 4 at a medium/high quality. I need advice on the two cards I have picked out.
Strix-GTX750Ti (140 USD) - Almost 50% cheaper, power-efficient, lower temperatures, older architecture and weaker gaming performance
Turbo-GTX960 (235 USD) - Blower cooler, newer architecture, about 15-20 FPS increase in benchmarks, high temperatures under load (80 deg. Celsius max).
I'm having trouble with this decision because while the 750Ti is better value for money, I will probably have to upgrade it and spend more money than I would like in the future, but I prefer the look of the 960 and there's a smaller chance I'll have to upgrade.
