Is my CPU usage normal??

When I type any documents in wordpad my cpu usage is around 15-20% ..so is that normal??? I have a 3 month old PC and a pretty powerful i5 4440 CPU. So is that normal??

When idle, there are operating system tasks going on that generally will use around 0-10% depending on what it is.
When you're using wordpad, you have an entire program running, it's likely to be doing things such as spell checking, and scrolling around will also cause cpu usage, aswell as the same tasks that were running during idle. As celtic mentioned, antivirus programs etc will cause usage aswell.

Nothing to worry about :)

Thank U very much. But during idle my total usage is 0-5% and working in wordpad makes the total usage around 20%.
