Msi gaming 3 motherboard bios crash

Have the Msi gaming 3 motherboard and when I boot up my PC it gives me a very blurry bios. When I click on settings it freezes and have to restart. In the manual the bios looks completely different. I have read this is due to the fact I Have/ got given a plasma tv. I find this hard to be true is it?

You should rollback or update your video drivers, then set the resolution on a normal monitor, then when you connect your TV the resolution options should change and your card might not support the aspect ratio or resolution.
