Is there much difference between the i5 4690 and the i5 4460

I would like to make a budget pc for gaming but no hardcore gaming. I'm getting gtx 750 ti, 8 gbs of ram but I cant decide whether to go for the i5 4460 or the i5 4690. Is it worth spending the extra for the 4690? Also I don't wan to OC because I am not confident with raising clock speeds. Plz give your opinion. Thanks for reading

either cpu won't hold back your 750 ti's performance at all. if anything i'd use the money you would be saving to maybe get a better gpu. if you'd like help with a build fill this out and i'll make one for you: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/353572-31-build-upgrade-advice

4690 is better, but when it comes to price/performance the 4460 is a better buy for the cost

I would say go for i3 and spend the rest on a better gpu (the 750 ti is a very nice card though) but if you can get something like 270x or gtx 960 you will get obviously.better gaming results
