^^you guys are funny.

The best bang for your buck CPU is the Xeon e3-1231 v3 (provided you don't need integrated graphics, if you do go e3 1246 v3). It's essentially a cheap i7 4770k, on UK newegg for 167 http://www.newegg.com/global/uk/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117316&cm_re=xeon_e3-_-19-117-316-_-Product

Edit: If you need integrated graphics, the Xeon e3-1246 is 190 on Newegg UK and is essentially an i7 4790 http://www.newegg.com/global/uk/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117318&cm_re=xeon_e3-_-19-117-318-_-Product

the turbo clock speeds, especially with the e3-1246 v3 (goes up to 3.9 ghz) can pretty much handle any situation

How is that not best bang for buck to not bottleneck the 980? Pretty much as fast as the Xeon and i7 in 99% of games and a lot cheaper. Not saying its better, but it is huge bang for buck.

it is bang for your buck, depends on how much OP is trying to spend. He said preferrably under 200 and the xeons are in that price range.

Its more bang for your buck. The xeons cost 50% more, but are probably around 5% faster in gaming.
