Hey guys, first time posting here. Cooling question here.

FX8350 w/ ASUS CROSSHAIR V FORMULA-Z.

I installed a H80i as exhaust w/ another Top Fan as exhaust as well.
Then frontal and side intake fans all of that on a Abaddom-gs-6070 chassis.

How are these temps,

Idle:
CPU: 32-37

Load: Testing with little games, like Terra Tech or Graw Future Soldier.
CPU: peaks 47 sometimes I saw it near 50.

I know the max temps are 55-60c.

But If I leave the H80 on quiet I'm afraid the CPU will go too hot, so I try to leave it on balanced but they do quite a lot of noise.

Also Running on the same PC a ASUS 290x that reaches 95c... so not sure if Im doing something wrong or if these temps are ok. I'm running stock clocks and I really never paid attentions to the temps and now I'm really afraid I will burn something..

Thanks guys, awesome place you have in here.

95C is pretty darn hot for that card at stock temps. Pop open your case and use a can of compressed air to clean out the fans and heat sink on your GPU and also any mesh\grates and fans in your case.

As stated above you really might need to increase the cooling inside your case to get that GPU temp down to a more acceptable level.
290x is a very hot card. But it is also overkill for 1080p and 1440p gaming. Make sure vSync is on and that your case has plenty of cool air coming in.

CPU temps are OK considering the internal ambient is probably high with that 290x inside. Try taking the case side panel off. If temps drop, you need better airflow and vents in your case.
