So I've just got my first ever gaming PC after only playing on console. Here are my main specs:
AMD FX-8350
R9 290 4GB
8GB DDR3 RAM
so my question is (I'm fairly confident it is) but how much better is my PC than my PS4 power wise. I do enjoy the comfort of playing on console considering all my friends are on console but its not too big an issue considering I have a controller for my PC, the game is single player and PC will have full mod support. In summary I basically want to know whether the PC with my specs will play fallout 4 with better graphics at a decent framerate compared to my PS4. Cheers. Also for anyone with greater knowledge than me, at what setting should I be able to play the game at 1080p with good fps?

Solution
I'll copy this from the Fallout 4 responses I keep posting =p

Minimum:
CPU: Intel Core i5-2300 2.8 GHz/AMD Phenom II X4 945 3.0 GHz or equivalent
CPU Speed: Info
RAM: 8 GB
OS: Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required)
Video Card: NVIDIA GTX 550 Ti 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or equivalent
Free Disk Space: 30 GB

Recommended:
CPU: Intel Core i7 4790 3.6 GHz/AMD FX-9590 4.7 GHz or equivalent
CPU Speed: Info
RAM: 8 GB
OS: Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required)
Video Card: NVIDIA GTX 780 3GB/AMD Radeon R9 290X 4GB or equivalent
Free Disk Space: 30 GB

You should be fine to play it and while it won't be on Ultra, it will still run smoothly on medium-high settings.

Thanks guys, I think I will get the game for the PC. I just want to know what approximate settings the ps4 will run the game at, comparable to the PC settings.
