I am interested in buying a Windows PC for gaming and am wondering what specifications i would need in order to play Rust, specifically.

I don't want to buy a PC that barely suits the minimum specifications, as the game is in "Alpha", "Early Access" on Steam and thus minimum requirements might change slightly in the future.

I'd like to play the game on Medium graphics (or better!) without causing system stress or experiencing performance issues.

So...

What components of a computer have the largest effect on how a game such as this runs?

Please could anyone advise or recommend builds with the cheapest hardware options that will allow for smooth game play on Rust?

Here are the official system requirements of Rust:

Thanks, Looking forward to your advice!

The following would be the cheapest option to play rust with and get the smoothest gameplay, and should get better FPS than this, which was done on a similar but slightly weaker system:
Rust: Settings: Fantastic Avg:64 Min:0 (being dead) Max:107
