Periodically when im playing a game my computer will shut off suddenly as if it was unplugged. It started with Rocket league and would turn off if I was starting up or about to quit a game but its happened with some other games too. What is causing it and how can I fix this? Im on Windows 7. I checked to make sure its not overheating using MSI afterburner and it stays at around 30-40 C so its not overheating. I have not cleaned the dust out but dont think thats the problem.

My parts are:
-Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
-MSI Z87-G45 Gaming ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
-G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240 Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 Memory
-Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
-EVGA GeForce GTX 760 4GB Superclocked ACX Video Card
- Thermaltake Toughpower TPD-0750M - SLI/ CrossFire Ready 80 Plus Gold Power Supply

Have you overclocked either the CPU or GPU? In my experience your problem stems from not having enough power. 750W is sufficient if you don't overclock, but if you have you might want to run some further tests and upgrade the PSU.

How can I check that?

Well the GPU is pre-superclocked. Get a slightly beefier power supply, see if that fixes the problem. If it doesn't, then I'm not sure. You could always return the power supply later if it turns out to not be its fault.
