Hello everybody,
here are my specs:

AMD A8 6600k 3.9 GHz, Quad Core
8GB RAM ddr3 1333
MOBO ASUS A55BM-K
PSU Omega ATX Power Supply 800W
GPU XFX Radeon HD 6670 2GB ddr3 (Dual graphics with APU)
1TB HD

Its a very discrete computer i built to play Star Wars the Old Republic which isnt too demanding.

Anyway, I have 150$ to get a new video card to play GTA V in medium settings (Maybe high) and in 1440x900 resolution.

I wanted to upgrade only my GPU, not my APU.

I was thinking about the EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti. I heard if I get a better video card, it will be bottlenecked by my APU.

Do you guys have any thoughts? And my main question is, do you recommend any other GPU before I make a decision?
Thank you for your time, I really appreciate any help I can get.

Solution
The GTX 750 Ti will probably run GTA 5 1440x900 medium settings without too much problems. If you're set on getting one I suggest the ASUS STRIX 750Ti instead of the EVGA.

GPU's over the 750TI will not bottleneck by that CPU, Its still somewhat new quadcore. If your trying to play GTA get an NVIDIA card such as the 750ti as it is optimized for Nvidia cards. The next step up from a 750ti is the 950 but is more expensive. And if you get a 750ti make sure to overclock it because Maxwell from nvidia is great for OC'ing
