Hey guys, first time posting here so a few things i'd like to point out first are i'm from Australia as I pointed out in the title, I have a maximum budget of $1100-$1300 and not keen on pushing that, I would like an SSD (not fussed about size just to boot OS), 16GB RAM min because I plan on doing light editing and plan to make better upgrades in the future and also considering RAM is considerably cheap depending on brand even for Australians, 2TB HDD minimum because it will be a gaming rig and also preferably a Quad-Core CPU because from what i've heard most games coming out these days require 4 minimum. Not fussed about a monitor because I have one but not actually sure if it's 1080p considering it is 5-6 years old. Also I forgot to mention, i'm more of an Intel + nVidia person. I have no problem with AMD I just personally prefer nVidia because I was brought into the PC Master Race world by mates that all run Intel/nVidia builds. I've also heard better things for gaming about nVidia (mostly).

Build #1: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/ncwwsY
Build #2: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/7dcLQ7

The second build I am aware is $1388 so closer to $1400 AUD but I as hesitant from that simply because I feel it could be better for a better price or something. Sorry in advance, i'm fairly new to all of this building etc. (Also, I intend on keeping the Dark Rock Pro 3 simply because I heard from most people it lasts years and i'll upgrade to i7 because of editing and a much beefier CPU in the future and don't really want to end up buying another cooler in the future, so future proofing I suppose)

If possible a KBM + Monitor would be appreciated, but if not i'm not fussed as I have all 3, i'd just like a decent 60hz 1080p Monitor considering I won't bother trying to smash 100fps on a budget build and because i'm not sure about the Res on my current monitor and a decent gaming KB&M.

EDIT: Don't even worry about the editing part, it's nothing serious. Just some Windows Movie Maker, Photoshop type stuff.

Cheers guys.

I know that buddy, that's why i'm asking for opinions because I don't really know much about what i5 to get etc. I'm only going to do some serious editing when I get better parts anyway, keep in mind it is a budget of $1100-$1300 that's why i'm asking for help!
