(Notice I OC my CPU and it is stable I just want to ask if I should set the VCORE to adaptive?)

I already OC my CPU and i believe it is stable and I set the VCORE to 1.35, But the problem is that should i set the VCORE to ADAPTIVE? or just stay with 1.35 all the time ? am really not sure what to do.

BTW here are my specs:

Core i7-6700k SKYLAKE
ASUS Z170-A
8GB (2x4GB) CORSAIR VENGEANCE DDR4 2400MHz
Seagate(ST1000DM003) 1TB 64MB Sata 6Gbps
GIGABYTE GTX 980Ti G1 GAMING
COOLERMASTER Seidon 120V
SEASONIC M12II (620W) EVO 80+ FULL MODULAR

setting vcore to fixed or dynamic sometimes comes down to personal preference, while other times it may actually be better to leave it fixed.

While this sounds strange, some users DO want ALL power savings off(no clock throttle at idle or anything).

Some users do not want a system running hotter at idle than it has to and will keep power savings.

The real catch is sometimes using an offset voltage can cause the system to be stress stable yet crash on mid state like opening a program(the cpu is not at idle, but not loaded either). The cpu has multiple voltage and clock states so if one of them happens to not have enough voltage, it may be unstable at that clock speed only.

I would like to point out that I do not think I have seen this issue on cpus overclocked with the multiplayer(because the mid states should still be fixed).

The best bet is to try and see what works best for your system.

When testing try to keep an eye on voltage because some boards may use more voltage than needed when overclocking. You may need some fine tuning in the bios.

I'm really glad to hear that guys Tnx for the replies :))

I think im ok with this settings 1.35V. Power savings is not really a big deal for me but can i go with this settings right? if it's ok then I'll leave it to 1.35 then :))
