So I recently decided to buy Fallout 3 on Steam since it was on sale and after a few hours of playing the game, it would start to stutter occasionally. Every so often while moving around, the whole screen will pause for a fraction of a second. I have no problem playing more graphically demanding modern titles, so this is certainly not an insufficiency with my system specs. It doesn't make the game unplayable, but I would prefer not to have it if there is a solution. Could it be that this stuttering is just down to the game not being optimized for modern PCs?
