Would my money be better spent elsewhere?

Just want to hear some different thoughts here. For me, it's pretty much on the gray line between a wasteful and a useful purchase, tending to the wasteful one.

Specs are in sig, but here they are for better readability:
MSI Z87-G45 GAMING MoBo
Intel i5 4670 CPU (@boost) cooled by a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
ASUS Radeon R9 290x DCUII OC GPU (@stock)
Corsair Vengeance LP (2x4GB) 1600Mhz CL9 RAM
Antec HCG-750M PSU
Corsair 300R case (1 intake front fan, 2 top and 1 back exhaust fans).

Considering I have no intention whatsoever to move above 1080p for the time being, would it be worth it to buy...
- Another 2x4GB RAM set
- Another 290x for 2-way XFire
- A 1000W PSU
... for an upgrade?

Already have an SSD, albeit it's a relatively old 128GB Samsung 840 EVO.
256GB feels too small of a step, and 512GB still costs too much for the capacity IMO (although it's also true that I'm pretty much ready to cash out potentially more than 500€).

Still, I guess I'll think about it :p

I'm not replacing, I'm considering to up the ante on the graphics front. The CPU should be strong enough to drive the system (judging by MSI AB and the games I play, since GPU is pretty much always at 100% load while CPU fluctuates around 50%).

RAM is just an extra, as 8GB are enough already, exceptions made for seemingly horribly coded games (e.g. CoD AW), and the PSU needs those extra 250W to keep it up, if I went for XFire.
It's also true that, with DX12 getting more and more importance, perhaps it's best if I waited for newer cards, in case new revisions pop up; don't want to find myself with another DX 10.1 situation.

I'm just considering ideas anyway, as I've wrote in the OP. A bigger SSD seems a good option too, albeit, compared to an HDD and for the boost it gives, paying potentially 4 (512GB) to 8 (1TB) times for 1/2 to equal the storage space doesn't exactly feel cost-effective either.
