cpu:i7 5820k@4.5ghz
i done free latest version memtest of pcmark website.
1)when i am using 4 drams in the mb by putting in slots DIMM_1,2,3,4 as per mb guide(gray ones first to fill)
[/color]mem test is failing and reboot to windows also failing@2933mhz showing 4000+ errors from start of test it is counting.
so i taken 1 slot left and checked with 3 rams now
2)when i am using 3 drams in the mb by putting in slots 1,2,3 as per mb guide.
mem test is failing and reboot also failing@2933mhz
i used 2 rams of all the 4 rams in 2 slots 1,2, combinations. there is no problem with slot 1,2 filling with any ram in dual channel combination for 2933mhz in memtest.
then i used slot 3 again
there is problem with slot 3 with any ram in triple channel combination for 2933mhz in memtest.
so i used slot 4 for 3rd ram instead of slot 3.
3)when i am using 3 drams in the mb by putting in slots 1,2,4 as per
mem test is charming the drams at 2933mhz and cpu@4.5ghz. no errors
i used all the 4 rams in 3 slots of 1,2,4 combinations. there is no problem with any ram in triple channel combination for 2933mhz in memtest.
