Solution NerdyComputerGuy Oct 27, 2015 Hey, The M5A99FX PRO R2.0 is built for the AMD 990FX Platform therefore it will not work with Intel processors which in your case is the 4770k. You will have to buy a motherboard that has the '1150' socket type.
