I have 4 hard drives installed and 8 partitions. Every time I search a file with windows, it takes annoying long time. Is there any way to speed up the file search? I think there is such setting to do so but I don't know how to do it. Hopefully someone would help. Thanks

It's not a setting you need, it's a different file search utility you need, the Windows one is total cr*p.

That, IMHO is a limited view of the topic
In fact you would have to pay big money to get a File Indexing Engine better that the one that comes for free.
If you take into consideration the metadata. tags and comments that the search engine is able to use you might change your opinion.
Searching files by name is the most rudimentary way to use this complex engine.
