MacBook Pro issue!
I'm trying to fix a MacBook Pro as my sister <mod edit> it up quite a bit.
Because when I boot it up, it shows a loading bar and Then shuts down, so I have reached the conclusion that it's a hard drive fail. So I want to replace it with one of my own Hdd around 500GB or so.
But its either empty or has a Windows installation on it. Will that be a problem, or should i Wipe it through my desktop pc?

Anyways what Will happen when I boot from an empty Hdd? How do I get the Apple os installed?
Please help me ;)

If your Mac is a recent one (less than about 5 years old) follow this procedure: http://osxdaily.com/2014/12/14/reinstall-os-x-mac-internet-recovery/

I would wipe it if you want OS X, if you don't mind to OS and it has Windows on it you should be able to boot that, as for installing Mac you would most likely need a disk.
