Based on the information provided below, please recommend a solid, budget PSU ($50-$75) that I won't regret. I am very much of the opinion on most things that there is no single, right answer on these things. Ideally I would like multiple recommendations for or against. For example, I have seen both positive and negative for the Corsair CX series, which seems to go cheap quite often.

This system is for my son, and very focused on bang for my buck and gaming. I got the i3 for $60 so that was a no brainer, and R9 380 seems to be budget sweet spot (or GTX 960, but prefer the 380 personally). I'm just waiting for a $150-$175 4GB version hopefully for BF. I have a 1TB 7200RPM drive, and getting an SSD. All in all I don't think my power requirements are extreme, but thinking to keep north of 500 just because. I have been leaning towards modular due to the case being used (Thermaltake V21), but others may work fine.

I don't want to spend $75-$150 on a PSU. I can wait until BF and constantly monitor deals. Hoping to find something in the $50-75 range. I have tried to read up on the various Tiers, but all in all just confuses me.

TIA

What about this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?sdtid=8180030&SID=5c3b33a87d9b11e5a9a54234b3f23d160000&AID=10440897&PID=1225267&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-cables-_-na-_-na&Item=N82E16817438026&cm_sp=

A little more money, but 10 year warranty and seems to give slightly more headroom and Gold certified. However, XFX has slightly higher ratings actually, but only slightly. Any advice on which one would better suit my needs?

Thank you SR-71. I had a chance to research the EVGA G2 550W on multiple sites and reviews and I think that would be perfect. Right now it is my top pick to watch for a price break. Right now $75 AR, so if I can shave another $15-20 off for BF or sale, I am all over it.
