I wanted to build a computer from scratch, new motherboard, new card, etc... using only the ram, hard drive and optical disk drive from my last computer in it. I've built it now, but when i run the BIOS setup, and go on board explorer, the PCIE slot where the card is slotted into is empty apparently, despite the fact that power is going into the card, as the graphics card's led lights begin to glow as I start it up. Also, I've tried to get the fans on my case working but they aren't, and finally, whenever I start up windows, it offers me a choice to launch startup repair, or launch it normally. If I click normally, the PC crashes and restarts. I'm told that this is because the Pc isn't recognizing the GPU but i'm not sure, is this true? if not, how do I stop it? Help will be greatly appreciated.

Not sure but maybe the bios needs updating to the latest version, its what im hearing on the interwebz.

Go to the motherboards main site, find your motherboard model and get the latest bios, but be careful bios upgrading is unpredictable like a woman with chocolate.
