Hey guys! I am planning on building my first gaming desktop and need some advice.

I have a budget of about $1000 - $1100 and don't want to mess up this build. Any opinions or suggestions on my build would be very appreciated.

MB + CPU - You have an H97 motherboard (non-overclocking) paired with a K series CPU (unlocked / overclocking). Assuming you intend to overclock look toward a Z97 motherboard, however gaming at 1080 doesn't necessarily need an overclocking setup. The setup below is for no overclocking and a single GPU.
SSD - 120GB is pretty small. Look toward a 250GB model for $25 more.
GPU - At 1080 resolution you are better off with the GTX 960 or R9 380.
CASE - You sure you want a full tower? That is huge!
MONITOR - Same specs on the LG below for less cost.

Thanks for the advice. I was planning on using the SSD as a boot drive though, so I think that a 250 GB SSD might be unnecessary. With the new mid tower case you suggested, would I need to replace the fans? I've heard that the fans that go with cases tend to be pretty cheap.
