How to make SSD my boot Drive

How do I make my SSD my boot drive??

My SSD is kingston 120GB

I go in BIOS make my SSD number 1 Boot, also my MOBO is Asus m5a97 r2.0

Any ideas

Also, be sure to disconnect any other SSDs/HDDs installed in the system when you install your OS. Reconnect your other drives after OS is installed.

When you partition your SSD, leave at least 10% of your drive as "Unallocated" (not partitioned).

No I haven't done any of the above.

My boot is my 1tb HDD
