Hi, a few weeks ago my PC got pretty laggy when I was played the new Metal Gear Solid. I closed out of the game then opened it again but it was still really slow, so I restarted my PC. It didn't help. I tried to start up shadow of mordor but it also had about 15 FPS. Now almost any mid-high spec game I run lags like crazy, especially since I have a really good PC. I used to be able to run all these games on high settings fine. I've tried cleaning my PC physically, and running CCCleaner. My friend says it might be a graphics card issue, and my graphics card, (GTX 750), has a small white mark on the side. I don't think this is causing anything, but it might be melted. I'd like to know what the issue is for sure before I order a new video card.
My specs are:
AMD FX -8300 Eight Core processor, 3.30 GhZ
8 gigabytes RAM
Windows 8.1 64-bit
Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 video card
1.65 Terabytes HDD (721 gigabytes free)
I should also mention that I haven't updated drivers since the issues started. Anyways, if anyone knows what's going on and how I can fix it, thanks a lot. I'm a total noob when it comes to PCs, though. Sorry.
