Guys I desperately need help . I recently bought an Asus Sabertooth Z170 mark 1 mobo and I have tried countless times to install windows 7 to my Samsung Evo SSD from a USB bootable pen drive but failed countless times. I even updated the bios but still no joy. I don't know what I'm doing wrong so PLEASE HELP !

First things first, I would re-image the drive.
Second things second, follow one of these tutorials to the letter to do it:
http://www.howtogeek.com/191054/how-to-create-bootable-usb-drives-and-sd-cards-for-every-operating-system/

Third things third, make sure you have proper boot settings in your bios before continuing, for instance, you may have to turn AHCI off on the SATA you're using until Win7 is installed, and make the necessary registry edits to enable it properly.

Is all of your hardware showing in bios boot menu?

I can guarantee you that my Bootable flash drive is working fine as one my friend installed windows on his PC using this same pen drive , Now , if I disable AHCI mode , there's another option and that's RAID mode and I don't see any other option to switch to . And yes all my hardware is showing . I unplugged all my Drives except for the SSD . Thanks for the prompt reply.

Is this a USB3 port, by chance, that you're plugged into? If you have a USB2 port, you may want to try installing from there instead. I've run into this on quite a few motherboards trying to install both Windows 7 and Windows 10. If it starts the install process but then asks for a driver disk, this is the issue you're probably having. If you HAVE the driver disk for your motherboard, cool. If not, try a USB2 port.

I know what you mean but I tried through USB 2.0 ports but not all of them and yea it starts the install process and then asks for drivers. Should I try all other USB 2.0 ports ?

For AZ170 Motherboard to install win7:

Please follow up this doc:
http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1151/Z170-K/DE164_100_Series_Windows_7_Setup_Guide_print.pdf

1st, I used one USB key with win7 OS boot up. And copy the AHCI driver into USB key too.
2nd,connect one ODD to insert the MB's DVD.
3rd,power on and choose the USB key to start install, and then need to find your driver pass

And you need to download AHCI driver too "IRST_Win7-81-10_64bit_V14801042.zip"

At last I install successful! Good Luck!
