port mapping for gmod?

I've been trying to host a gmod server me and my cousin for about a week now, to no results. I keep getting "server not responding" when they try to join. So instead of going to "port forwarding" in my router settings, i went to "applications" and created a rule. But I dont know what to put for Port Map. Help would be appreciated.

port forwarding shouldn't be necessary for gmod, probably just the windows firewall blocking it. Create an inbound rule for the executable file for gmod and allow it on all ports, all networks.

As long as you definitely know, yet don't know "what to put for Port Map"...

All I had to do was create a firewall rule, but what do I know except that mine works.
