I am making a computer for my studies inside an old PS1 case. I have decided on having six fans to cool it; three intake and three exhaust. The fans are small 5v ~ 0.9W 30mm x 30mm x 6mm Sunon brand laptop fans (the fans are getting 5v from a molex adapter). I had an abundance of old 3pin to 2x3pin cables lying around, so I daisy chained them together to form this wonderful contraption:

My questions are (keep in mind the final product will be in a case):
Can this cause a fire?
Would this be safe for extended use?
Would using electrical tape help to insulate any parts to stop a fire?
Should I not daisy chain it but instead buy a new 3pin adapter that has 6x male 3pins?

Ok. Thanks, I'll wrap them in some electrical tape to stop exposure. In the rare event of an overvoltage I want to be safe from a fire (as does anyone really).

Nice. I might order four or so more fans then for some better airflow, and maybe a better 3pin splitter.

Thanks for your help.
