"Patriot Viper Xtreme" with "Asus M5a97 r2.0" HELP

Is the "Patriot Viper Xtreme 8GB Desktop Memory Module - DDR3, 1600MHz, PC3-12800, CL 11, 1.5V - PX38G1600C11" Compatible with the "Asus M5a97 r2.0"? I keep getting "Display driver has stopped responding and repaired itself".

They aren't that great of sticks but should be OK - the error is indicative of a driver/GPU/PSU problem. Would download the latest GPU driver, uninstall the current one and install the new version

I have done everything else and nothing has worked. Reinstall of windows. Updated to Windows 10. Replaced gpu twice. Replaced cpu once. Edited REGEDIT and new drivers multiple times.
