PC Upgraded But Not Improving

Hello everyone,
So yesterday I got a I5 4690k along with a z97e. I put everything and booted the PC up. When I went to test out some games, it ran about the same as it did before I upgraded. I originally had a amd 6300, so I was hoping it would have some improvement. Any help would be appreciated.

Whats ur GPU ..... of course the performance is being bottle necked :pfff: .....and probably the cause is GPU ..........

It was a GTX 760. From the info I have found, the AMD 6300 was bottlenecking the 760.

Try updating drivers for the graphics card.....and check the refresh rate ....it is in the nvidia control panel ......
EDIT: and pls mention the game ...... performance will increase only if the game is CPU intensive:na:
