This has never happened to me before.
2 usb devices (Blue Yeti & Razer kraken) that I use on a daily basis suddenly don't work. The LED's and everything are there, but windows wont recognize it. It doesn't show up under playback devices. At first I suspected it's a problem with the front USB ports, but I connected both the Yeti and the Kraken to the rear ports (even where my keyboard & mouse is at) and it still didn't recognize. The weirdest thing is, it works on a different computer. It's like my PC suddenly hates these 2 specific devices. I tried nearly everything but nothing works and I have no idea how to even google this issue. I didn't see anyone with the same issue and I'm really frustrated, I was hoping someone here might know how to fix this
EDIT: I FIXED IT! I FOUND THE SOLUTION! I will share exactly what I did so no one feels the same frustration I felt during these 2 days. I've tried everything, I tried to google this issue but no one had the same problem. I tried to download microsoft FixIt, I tried to uninstall USB hosts and reinstalling them multiple times, I tried to completely shutdown my computer for several hours and see if it works. I tried everything but nothing works, and the weirdest thing is that on a different computer these devices worked perfectly and they have no drivers, they're PnP (Plug n' Play). So, what was the problem? It's not the USB ports, it's not the actual devices, it's just windows being stupid. Windows sometimes decides that PnP devices should stop working for whatever reason. To fix it, go to Device Manager and locate the device you're having problems with (should have a small yellow warning sign near the icon) right click and click the first option called "update.." and click the 2nd option (My PC is in hebrew and the translation is weird so here's a picture: http://i.imgur.com/wQgAIPu.png ) after that, click the 2nd option again ( http://i.imgur.com/TtMSpo8.png ) and from there on just click "Next" again and again until it starts updating. Repeat this process to each device that has the little yellow warning sign next to it. NEVER in my entire life have I struggled this much trying to resolve a problem.
