So I am currently getting ready to buy and build my first computer and want to dive straight into water cooling. I'm running a Pentium G3258 and a Z97 mobo.

I've looked at coolers like the H75, H100i, etc.

Any cooler around the same price or below the h100i will be perfect.

That CPU does not need watercooling. I got to 4.5Ghz on stock and could have gone further if the chip were better!

Unless you are prepared to get very serious, stay with 'big air'. The starting place for decent expandable AIO is the Swiftech H 220X which uses an excellent waterblock and a very powerful and reliable pump.

Either the 100 or 110i GTX if you're looking for a "plug and play" liquid cooler. It all comes down to case space as well. I personally could not fit a 240mm radiator, so opt'd for the h80i GTX.

My recommendation - either go with real watercooling or just go big air.

Closed loop coolers are cheap for a reason; they have very poor pumps and utilize cheap, aluminum radiators. They only perform well if you run the fans at maximum speed and on the H110i GTX I tested, this meant noise levels at 60 dB.

Watercooling and 'cheap' aren't terms that go well together.
