Hy!

I want to stream video from the internal lan of my school.(with raspberry pi and a usb webcam).

I've used it before with motion and ftp uploaded the captured images. So it worked. Now I want to view in real time camera pictures via video stream.

How could I solve it? We have one outgoing IP address, and I guess because of the router/switch configuration (lack of port forwarding) I am not able neither to host anything with my computer nor reach my RasPI from the outside world. eg from home.

What would be the solution in order to conneting to the live stream?

Thanks.

Without your video server (whether it's RPi or a PC) being reachable from the outside (== port forward an external port to your server' port 80) you cannot to a lot.

Most video conference services (eg Skype) work by having a central server accessible from clients, which helps them establish a connection thru them.

For a starter - learn how to stream on your inside LAN.
