Hello,
I overclocked my G3258 to 4ghz recently and every now and again my computer randomly crashes making a loud buzzing/stuttering noise.
I dont understand what this could be but it happened a minute ago playing old school runescape whilst listening to spotify. I havent had this problem yet with world of warcraft, but ive had it once when playing gta v but that was during the benchmark test hasnt happened in game yet.
Had no crashes whilst running intel burn test btw.
Build:
Gigabyte GA-H81M-H
G3258 @ 4ghz
Cooler master Hyper evo 212
6GB hp/samsung RAM
1TB hitachi hard drive
750ti sc edition
650w psu which my friend gave me unsure of brand as didnt think to look
Thanks in advance

Yeah still just sounds like a OC related lockup, usually when that happens you will get a repeating sound out of your speakers but not always. I'm not knowledgeable on that chip but you'd probably get good advice in one of the OC threads. Might need voltage or some tweaks adjusted.
