The motherboard i tried to overclock on is an ASRock H81m-VG4. And the CPU is a intel g3258. In the bios i tried to change the ratio from stock 32 to 33 and later to 34. Saved and exited. Booted up to windows opened asrock a-tuning software and it showed that the ratio is changed to what i changed to in bios. But when i check the frequency it shows 3200 mhz . That frequency was claimed by bios, hwmonitor and asrock a-tuning software. Why doesnt it change too ?
Cpu frequency doesnt change when changing ratio.

does it ever go up to 3400MHz at full load? could be some weird turbo thing. also, what settings are you using?
