Hey guys, I have a question for you. I recently did a PC overhaul, I installed 2 more sticks of 4gb ram to equal 16, new SSD for steam storage, and the GTX980TI that I've been dying to get.

So, after all this, everything worked fine for a few days. Pc ram like a champ, not a single issue. PC worked the first time I booted it up after all my upgrades, easiest upgrade I've ever done.

Welp, as we should all know, good things never seem to last. I woke up this morning and hopped on my PC, only to have it do absolutely nothing when I pressed the power button. I looked over at the front of my case, and the power button was flashing on and off, very slowly, the light for my CD ROM was flashing, and there is a little light over a 3.0 jack for my headphones that were flashing too.

At first I was thinking it was my PSU, thing is, fans are working, the GTX logo on the side of the GPU is powered up, CPU fan is running. Everything looks to be working just fine, aside from teh while "booting" process. The only thing that's not lighting up is my keyboard, but that usually never lights up until about halfway through the PC's booting process, anyways.

Any help? If my MOBO is dead after I upgraded this I'm going to ... <edit by mod - please keep in mind this is a family friendly forum>.

Solution
First thing would be to check all your connections and make sure EVERYTHING is plugged in correctly. Sometimes the simplest solutions are the most overlooked. If that's all that needs to be done, you'll save yourself a lot stress from looking for more complicated solutions
