PSU Advice for XFX R9 280X Black Edition Crossfire

I have a Cooler Master 800W 80+ Gold Certified power supply, and I already have one R9 280X. I'm not sure if my power supply would be enough for two of those power-hungry cards.

I would like to know what steps would be necessary to running two XFX R9 280X Black Edition Double Dissipation cards in crossfire.

I have a thermaltake TR2 700w PSU and it is handling 2 r9 280x at 1055/1520 and it is fine the 800w could handle it at 1100/1600 no problem

I see people talking about 12 Volt this and 40 Amp that. Do you know of everything I need to make sure is right with my PSU and connectors before it set the cards up?

You should be good to go with your current setup.

Its enough easily mate.
Running cf 280x here with an over clocked 8350.

From the socket its maxed out at 580w draw with both CPU & gpu's under stress.
