What computer would be better for playing games?

I'm looking around for a Christmas present for my dad and I plan on getting him a PC. He is a big Star Wars fan and he wants to get the new Star Wars Battlefront that is coming out soon and I've noted the minimum and recommended specs for the game. I can't spend more than $700 on a desktop, but I'd prefer to keep it around $600- $650. So if you find something better than the ones I have picked out, please keep the price range in mind. Anyway, here are the two computers I've found that I am debating between:

Asus Desktop: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/asus-desktop-intel-core-i5-8gb-memory-1tb-hard-drive-black-red/8448199.p?id=1219334567161&skuId=8448199
iBuyPower Desktop: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/ibuypower-desktop-amd-fx-series-8gb-memory-1tb-hard-drive-black-red/4575221.p?id=1219770995726&skuId=4575221

I know the Asus has the better CPU as it has the Intel i5 where the iBuyPower has an AMD FX inside. However, comparing the processors on CPU boss- that i5-4460 barely outperforms the FX 6300. What I am mainly wondering about are the graphic cards. The Asus has a GeForce GTX 750 inside where the iBuyPower has a Geforce GTX 750 Ti inside, both have 2GB of GDDR5 memory inside- I have no idea what is better or if it's a big difference either.
Another thing worth noting- I've seen both products on display at my local store and the iBuyPower case is much bigger- so worrying about a graphics card upgrade later on in the future and it fitting the case won't be a concern. However, the Asus desktop is considerably smaller- worrying about a graphics card that fits in the future will be a pain to find.

The last thing that concerns me is the iBuyPower desktop is a new product and hasn't had any reviews yet on the computer I'm looking at. Another model similar the one I am looking at (I presume it's an older model) on Best Buy's site had 3.5 ratings- the lower ratings were of people complaining of it not working out of the box. Is iBuyPower a good brand? Or would I be risking it by getting the computer- there is no way to tell about this computer until someone buys and posts a rating on it unfortunately- I've looked around and it looks like it's a Best Buy exclusive model.

You are paying for either a better CPU and a not-as-good graphics card or your paying for a better graphics card and not-as-good-CPU. Personally if it were me, since you mention he will be playing games on it- get the one with the better graphics inside since most of the gaming needs will come down to the graphics anyway. iBuyPower is a trustworthy brand and a good one at that. Plus you mentioned case sizing differences and how it could be a hassle to upgrade the Asus in the future- so if it were me, I'd just stick with that iBuyPower one. If it won't turn on out of box like the older model you mentioned- ask Best Buy for a new one, they are typically really good about that.

PS: The difference in graphics card isn't mind blowing. But...

I wish ha ha. I built my own awhile back but had some issues (faulty power supply)- long story short, it cost more than originally intended. Anyway, my mom is in on this Christmas gift and because of the issue in the past, she said we need to go Pre-built. She wants it out of a box ready to go. Since she's helping pay for it, it's her decision as well. Though I did bring that option up to her.

Chose you because you gave me the answer to my question rather than trying to find a million different solutions to my question that I was not interested in.
