Hey I got a new PSU and Graphicscard:
my system :
i5 2500k@4ghz 8gbram (now4 -.-) gskill sniper, and asus strix 970, with a new bequiet gold 530w,
after installing the new psu my pc started then shuts down after 2 sek and restarts over and over, sometimes the monitor doesnt even show anything and it doesnt restart, i can only use the psu switch then to turn it back on, i didnt change anything besides (installed new windows 7 version) but nothing on hardware, when i remove 1 ram module it shuts down again after 2 sek but then starts normal and after that it starts normal every time like it should, so im running on 4 gig now wich rly sux for a gamer =/, i can only use 2 ram slots since my cpu is too big but i never had troubles,
1 other thing: yesterday i could run both modules after getting to bios somehow and changing 1600mhz freq to 1333 (only 1333 works with my board cpu) and it worked flawless the whole evening even with restarting etc....today it came to the problems above i saw the ram was settet back to 1600 after that i couldt boot at all with 2 modules...im thinking about getting 1 8gb module and move on with my life but my budget for this month is very tight and i dont wanna wait 1 month to play fallout 4 =( any suggestions? i dont wanna cmos reset since i spend ours to configure my cpu overclock and i dont get why pc is running with 1 module fine (i tryd both , both work perfectly but not together) maybe faulty ram module slot?
