Could someone help me out, bought i 1tb hdd a while back. Tried to install it, used different sata cables etc. but i couldn't get it to show up in my bios menu nor my device manager. Any solutions?

Is the drive powering up?
Also, you need to use a different power cable as well. You can attach it to another SATA port as well.
In case the issue persists, and the drive is not recognized even by BIOS, then the HDD is most probably faulty. It would be nice in case you can attach it to another system so you can be 100% sure.

When troubleshooting it's not a bad idea to just borrow the cables from your optical drive (if you have one). That way you can be 100% sure that the cables and SATA ports on the motherboard are all working. You sometimes do have to push the cables quite firmly too.
