Hey guys,

I have had my 980ti for probably 2 months now and I just came across a major problem.

I turned on my PC and I bunch of errors popped up, to be honest I forgot what these were but I remember seeing these related to 'Nvidia'.

I go to update my Driver in the GeForce Experience and to up date but half way through it fails saying 'installation cannot continue' and Graphics Driver: Failed; and pops up the error:
'Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Runtime Error!

Program:C:\WINDOWS\SystemWOW64\RunDll32.EXE
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way'

And now my graphic card isn't being recognise at all - CPU-Z states I'm now running HD Graphics 4600.

SYSTEM SPECS:
i74790k
16GB RAM
Windows 10
500GB SSD. 1 TD HDD
750 PSU

Thanks for the help in advance! this sucks haha

Return the gpu for a replacement, don't see it being anything else.

But could try re-seating it, maybe the locking mechanism at the back of the PCIe slot hasn't locked the card in properly causing the contacts to skew slightly out of joint. And try another PCIe slot if you have another.
