Friends please help me..Can I get 100 fps in cs 1.6 by using intel core 2 duo processor E8400.If yes then kindly tell me the necessary configuration coz m planning to buy a desktop soon and my budget is not at all high.

Is CS:GO, what you are talking about? I have never heard of CS 1.6 before. What is your budget? anything like a GTX 750 Ti should more than suffice .

CS 1.6 is the really old one, I think I was playing that about 10 years ago.

Yeah anything like the GTX 750 or even and old GTX 460 could probably do 100fps on CS 1.6

Counter-Strike is a really old game (released in 2000), You should not have any problems playing that game with something like a nVidia GT 740 for $65.

Back to your question.

You can run CS 1.6 on the INTEL Core 2 duo processor E8400

It will run fine.

With regards to settings in game.

Just experiment, try all low settings then medium and then high and make sure you have VSync off if you want to have over 60FPS.
