Hey all,
I need some help. As soon as this new update hit, ive been having problems with my GTA 5. Firstly, i got tererible stuttering constantly during online and offline play.
Then, my Corsair 750W PSU started to emit a medium-noise that was constant during play - but when the noise stopped, the game would then stutter, then the noise would start, then the game would be playable-ish.
I upgraded my GPU today, and tested it again. No stuttering *touch wood* but there is still a noise coming from my PSU that only emits when paying GTA 5.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Z

Guessing here, but it seems that GTA V is pushing your PSU farther than it can safely go. It might have a manufacturing defect. An RMA would probably be your best option.

What are your system specs (including both old graphics card and the new one) and are you overclocking?

Hey blazothorn,
My new GPU is a
GTX 980ti MSi edition, whereas my old GPU was a GTX 760 MSI edition.

I over clock nothing in my PC, I'm a scared man when it comes to manual overrides

Thanks
Z
