Hey!
So i recently bought new specs. Everything worked fine the first week then all of a sudden all my games started lagging and the fps went to like 10... Ive tried reinstalling all my drivers, changing settings that ive found online but none of the things has helped me fix any of the issues. I have even tried to format my comp and the issue is still there so i have no idea what to do now.. Help please!

Specs:
Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 8GB
Corsair XMS3 Vengeance DDR3 PC12800/1600MHz CL9 4GB
Intel Core i5-4690K - 3,5GHz (3,9Ghz Turbo) / 6MB
ASUS Z97-P - ATX / Z97
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960

Sorry for bad english..
Im not so good at computers so if there is something you dont understand please ask

Everything looks normal... stays at 0.74ghz
Nothing lags when im not playing so its only when i start a game that the fps drop starts
my cpu temp when i checked in bios was at 70°

CPU temp at 70 is too high (especially in the bios as it will have had time to cool down a bit when you restart). Chances are your machine is thermal throttling (cpu's auto down clock if temps get too high to protect the cpu).

What cpu cooler do you have, also do you have any other case fans? Also is it a small case by any chance? You'll probably need to improve the air flow to get the temperatures down...

I dont know how to see what type of CPU cooler it is but i know its an intel if that helps.. I have one case fan that is at 700 rpm in bios and the cpu fan is at 2100 rpm or something + yeah its a small case but without one of the case sides on it.

I have now downloaded Msi afterburner to see the temps and stuff.. The temp is at 45-60 when im in a game. The mem clock is on 3500 MHz if that means anything.. Im guessing that is not a good sign because when im just looking around on internet and in windows it is at 400 MHz.
