Can I install 256 bits graphics card on my core 2 duo, e7400 ,2.80ghz processor?and can I run windows 10

Solution
256 is just the memory bus from the actual GPU to the Video Memory or VRAM. In short, it being on a 256 bit bus will not affect the compatibility of it to your existing parts, however the actual PCI-e slot will. Unless you have a PCI-e x16 slot (The long one) then you won't be able to upgrade your card. But considering most modern boards do have x16 slots then you will be perfectly fine upgrading to a new card as long as your power supply is rated for that wattage.
