So I have my drivers installed and the whole deal, and both the Intel(R) I211 Gigabit Network Connection and the Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (2) I219-V show up fine in my Device Manager, but I cannot figure out why each time I turn my system back on I have to unplug and replug my ethernet cable in to each of the ports before getting a success connection. It is very odd, because there is a connection recognized when I turn my system on, but the actual webpages will not load, just giving me that error or getting stuck in the infinite load state. Only after I unplug and replug my ethernet cable several times can I actually get a true connection.

I am at a loss at what to do, so anyone familiar with this type of motherboard, help is greatly appreciated.

I just used @BIOS to update, but still says F3, and I noticed on Gigabyte's website that F4 is there, so I will look in to that. I reinstalled the lan drivers from their site again as well, and after the restart I am on here no problems, so that is good. Hopefully it stays that way (has been doing it also after a full shut down overnight, then the next day it causes issues). If it has no issues after this, then I am confused but relieved. Thank you for your quick reply.
Do you recommend downloading and flashing from file the F4 on their website, or should I wait for my app center to recognize it?
I am running:
Windows 10
i7-6700k
GSKill Ripjaws V Series-16 GB with XMP
AMD R9-280X

So unfortunately today it did it again. It started fine, but later on after I woke it from the sleep state I had to unplug the ethernet cable several times for it to establish proper connection again. The weirdest part about it is that there is a connection that shows up, it just doesn't actually work for anything. I am going to go into the device manager and play around with the sleep/power settings and other options in there to see what I can do as well, and hopefully that will resolve it.

I have a similar (even worse) problem with a new Dell Optiplex 5040 (also with z170 chipset and i219 Ethernet controller). I found out that I have to set the port of the switch AND the settings of the Lan Card on my PC (running with Win10) to 100 Mbit (full duplex). As default both are working in "Auto" mode, which should be 1 Gbit. When i change them from 100 Mbit to 1 Gbit (first on the switch, than on the Lan Card) than they work also with 1 Gbit - until the next reboot of the PC.
In my specific case i have a Netgear GS108T which has now possibility to put them fix on 1 Gbit - maybe that could help.
If somebody could help what setting I have to change on the driver on my PC would be very helpful for me.

P.s.: sorry for my poor English!

I had a similar problem (I'm a newby!) I just downloaded the Intel driver that was listed on my motherboard on the gigabyte website. I installed it, and now both ethernets ports are workingz: one for my Synology NAS and the second to connect to the internet.
