Hello ,

I just recently accidentally spilled orange juice on my keyboard around the directional arrow keys and I immediately unplugged the keyboard and let it dry .

After 24 hours I plugged my keyboard back in , and since it was fully dry I decided to test it.

After turning on my PC I started to see some random thing s appear :

First the KB has it's FN button lid up and whenever I press any of the Function buttons they all act like I am holding the FN button.

Other buttons won't respond or I cant test them because
somehow whenever I click somewhere folder , file etc... I get around 15 popup boxes saying are you sure you want to delete this file/folder, so i t seems like something happened to my delete button even though I am not holding it.

So I wanted to ask if anyone here knows how to help me fix my problem and hopefully it is not broken.

My KB is:
CM Quickfire Ultimate

Thanks.

You missed an opportunity, the best thing would have been unplug it, flush it through with bottled water and the let it dry. Now the sticky residue from the orange has been left behind and is causing problems. Maybe flushing it through with clean bottled water may help remove the sticky residue but its unlikely. Water itself doesn't cause damage, only if you switch it on while its wet would it be bad, just dry it out in a warm place
