Hi Im wondering if these slightly older pc parts will be worth it to build a decent pc now for the money (also i want it to be in a very small case :p)

Cpu: Intel core2quad q9650 3.00ghz 12mb cache (will be overclocked to 4.3ghz)

Case: Cooler Master Elite 120 Advanced (mini-itx case)

PSU: EVGA 500w atx psu

Mobo: Intel DG41AN Desktop board Mini-ITX (this one was difficult to find since there are so little of these)

RAM:4gb of crucial ddr3 1333mhz ram (all mobo supports)

Cooler: Cooler Master Nepton 120xl (tell me if i need a bigger cooler)

Storage: WD Green 1tb 3.5"

The entire setup costs $344 without the graphics card but is much more expensive because of the cpu even tho i couldve gone with the q9550 for much cheaper but ive heard they dont overclock nowhere near as much and thats my only reason why i would think the q9650 is so much more expensive.

The graphics card will be a gtx 650 for now nothing special even tho the pc is able to take advantage of a much more powerful card and yes the board thats in the list doesnt have a proper slot for the graphics card but i really do like this one board since it has much better specs and supports the graphics card and also 8gb of 1333mhz ram as well as having wifi built in but the board isnt in stock anywhere ive checked but if u have any recomendations for a board please say it because im at a loss on this one

This would be the first time actually building a pc from scratch and i have a slight OCD so this needs to go perfectly XD

There are some excellent mini-ITX cases . If you want a compact unit I suggest buying one with an included psu .
But not the raidmax . Its bound to have a terrible psu

This silverstone is a quality item and the price is good

do u know of any motherboard thats similar to the one i was wondering about anyways? and im not an Amd fan XD sorry but yea the budget cpus nowadays can outperform on games even if they are dual core but this older processor does have advantages and disadvantages. but yes i do like to have a quad core (doesnt everyone?) and thank you the recommendation is really good but i still want to find another board similar to the one i had a link to

also i was getting all of these prices on ebay too so they were fairly cheap as well but yes the gpu is much better and the price of it is included with the build u have and its still cheaper than the one i setup
